Your Category Is Your Title

Hey you,

I genuinely didn’t know what to title this write-up.

So I decided to be honest instead.

If you’re in this situation…
you probably already know where you stand.

Or at least… you should.

So let’s do something simple.

Find where you perfectly fit.

Don’t worry — no pressure.
Just pick the one that feels a little too accurate.

  1. We’re Not Ready… But Please Don’t Move On
  2. Let’s Not Rush It — Let’s Just Ruin It Slowly
  3. Not Together, Not Apart — Just Confusing Everybody
  4. Professional Overthinkers in a Situationship
  5. We Like Each Other… Let’s Do Absolutely Nothing About It
  6. Certified “Let’s See How It Goes” Specialists
  7. Two People, One Connection, Zero Decisions
  8. Almost Lovers, Full-Time Analysts

Take your time.

No rush.

The body of this write-up has been written, you will get there so choose your title first.

After all… that seems to be the brand here.

It’s actually very interesting.

Two people.
Fully grown.
Emotionally aware (apparently).

Both claiming, “I like you… no, I really like you.”

But somehow…
nothing is happening.

Not because they don’t want to.

Not because the feelings are not there.

Not because life is that complicated.

No.

It’s because both of them are… carefully confused.

They will tell you it’s not commitment issues.

Ah. Please. Don’t insult us.

“It’s just that I want to be sure.”

“I’m trying to be in the right space.”

“I don’t want to rush something meaningful.”

“I have some priorities now… wait is it money you are looking for? May you find it oooo.”

Meaningful things now require a 2–5 business year waiting period with business plan and financial projection?

Interesting.

What’s funny is — the two both of you are not ready, but you are also not free.

They kinda want you,
but they don’t want anyone else to have you too.

You cannot move forward.
You also cannot move on.

You are just there.

Like a bookmarked tab in their emotional browser.

And the conversations?

Oh, elite.

“We’ll figure it out.”

“Let’s not force things.”

“Let’s just go with the flow.”

Which flow exactly?

Because from where we are standing, this looks like two people floating in circles… holding hands… but refusing to swim to shore.

The truth is simple, but uncomfortable:

You are not confused.
You are scared.

Scared of choosing.
Scared of committing.
Scared of being wrong.
Scared of losing control.

So instead, you choose something worse — slow emotional decay.

Because here’s the part nobody tells you:

Feelings don’t die loudly.

They don’t always explode.
They don’t always end in chaos.

Sometimes…
they just reduce.

Gradually.

The long calls become short.
The excitement becomes effort.
The “I miss you” becomes “have you eaten?”

Until one day, you wake up and realize…

You can’t even hold a proper conversation anymore.

And nothing happened.

That’s the scary part.

Nothing happened — and yet, everything ended.

And the wildest thing?

You saw it happening.

You noticed the shift.
You felt the disconnect.
You knew something was slipping.

But you told yourself:

“Let’s not overthink it.”

Ah.

Now look at it.

Fully thought. Fully finished.

See, this generation likes to act like love is a trap.

Everybody is protecting themselves.
Guarding their heart.
Playing safe.

Safe from what exactly?

Because in trying not to lose,
you are already losing.

Here’s a radical idea:

If you care — act like it.

Not halfway.
Not strategically.
Not with backup plans and emotional insurance.

Just… choose & hopefully eventually say yes I do 🤣

Yes, you might be wrong.

Yes, it might not work.

Yes, it might end.

But at least it will LIVE first.

Because what you people are doing right now is not love.

It’s a very polite way of wasting something real.

So before the both of you sit down one day, strangers with history, laughing awkwardly about “what could have been”

Ask yourself:

Was it really that you were not ready?

Or you were just too afraid to be honest…
and too comfortable to let go?

Hmm.

And you think it will eventually work itself out.

Okay.

Let’s see… Ire ooo!!!
